The Aether Portal is currently working perfectly. I encountered no problems to craft it via Vanilla Minecraft nor with Creative mode. I think you are mistaken kind sir.

Well when i made the gate and put water in it and doesnt show the portal i know how to make the portal its just the same as the nether but with glowstone and water but when i put the water in it keeps flooding i kept trying but never worked so i cheated it out PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IM DOING WRONG.

did you install the aether correctly?

are you sure you made the portal 5 blocks high and 4 wide? (3x2 Portal frame) that "bug" looks like what happens when you try to light a Nether portal with the wrong portal frame

yes i did make it 5 blocks high and 4 wide

Also, are you using 1.5.2 version or 1.5.1? And WHEN have you downloaded the mod?

Im using 1.5.1 so thx any way for your help but i will just wait till they update it to to full version not alpha

Not sure if you are still going to check this but anyways...

Did you make sure to place your water bucket on the bottom of the portal?

I'm not sure why but lots of people have the tendancy to place water blocks on the top.(of the 2x3 hole) That will not work and it'll just cause the water to flood.

and they should make it like the old aether portal
