What would be cool would be winged wolves which you can tame and ride, because there's winged sheep, pigs and cows. The winged wolves do more damage to monsters and have more life. They will be called Waerewulves which is a play on werewolves. Also, they can follow you into the overworld and meet the ordinary wolves. They never get angry if you hit them because the Aether is a calm, peacefull place and if an ordinary wolf gets angry they can calm them down. Cool, right?

I'm having this image of winged wolves being wolf gods that live in the heaven dimension mainly because there is a story about that in chinese mytho. Would be cool though but how would they actually do it...that's the real problem.
Oh and, Aether is definately not that calm and peaceful, you have Cockatrices and Zephyrs attacking you almost all the time in Aether and Tempests shooting you at night hoping to turn you into a pile of drops.
Curse tose freakking poison and nausea and slowness and whatevers! You just reminded me that the Aether is full of those awesome free bad 'potions'!
Oh man the things this Mod could do, one for instance, is the Angels being highly civilized and technologicly advanced, would the introduction of those mobs/NPCS bring new Items, weapons, and armor? The hell the should. It's perfect for an addition of some new tools and gadgets, I'm not sure what exactly, but the possibilities are endless, maybe a....Gravitiy gun? :D Lol But things of the sort, on the subject of gravity defying projectiles, what about a Gravitite Bow or Dart shooter? Having the same effect as the sword but ranged. Also, more Enchantments would be awesome, or some new god swords (Holy Sword, Vampire Blade, et cetra. Maybe something like an ice sword that inflicts slowness, or a Viper Blade that could act as a Melee equivilent* to the poison dart shooter.) I just think more combat things would be cool.

OKay so, highly advanced angel civilization? No. Not okay. The aether is not futureistic, and if you want guns in minecraft find a different mod pack. Blowdarts are perfectly good enough. Witherbark actually sounds like a great idea to me, since it would symbolise that all life that touches the nether shrivles away and dies. But i'm not sure how you could make it spawn ONLY on the top of the nether, and that is the only place that it is acceptable.
