So I started a new world with the aether 2 launcher thing and it seemed like it was doing great, untill I noticed that there was no sound...
Is there a fix for this or is this just part of the game?

This is not part of the game (the soundtrack of the mod is amazing, btw), but its probably due to an error when downloading the mod files. Have you tried downloading and re-installing the mod? Sorry if it looks like a stupid thing, but that is the most common reason for bugs out there

i have a simaler problem, aether sounds are fine but vanila sounds are not playing at all, like there not there. and i HATE silence, so to not go isane, i cheated a jukebox and aether songs thru creative
