Does the Aether dimension always generate?

Im wondering if the aether dimension generate endlessly. If yes, does that mean you can find an unlimited amount of dungeons? and when the mod gets updated, and you keep the save file of the previous world in the previous version (lets say that gold dungeons were added), can you still find gold dungeons when you go far enough?

yes you can find unlimited dungens and yes when the game gets gold dungens they will be added to your previous maps in a unexplored chunk that you have not entered
