Cloud Parachute is a type of item in the Aether. It will allow slow descent to the ground, but some sub-types have different functions.

Cloud Parachutes can be crafted.

Usage[]
Right-clicking will consume a parachute and activate its ability. Cold and Green share the default ability of slowing descent and preventing fall damage but Golden parachutes will cause a fast descent, Purple parachutes allow a directional descent, and Blue parachutes allow elevating into the air instead.
All Parachutes will disappear if they make contact with another block or will disappear after a certain amount of time. They can be used to safely fall from the Aether.
Trivia[]
- Strangely, in the 1.04 version and the pre-releases of 1.9 for the original Aether mod, the Book of Lore says that the Gold Parachute has only four uses instead of twenty. It can still be used twenty times, though.
