Mutation is one of the Aether II's large scale updates that will bring the Aether II into its beta stage. The update will most likely to be for Minecraft 1.8; this update will introduce many new mobs blocks, as well as return the silver dungeons and the Book of Lore. This update currently has no set release date, but can be estimated to release sometime next year.
